The product was purchased new, but would not accommodate my cell phone. I contacted the sender and promptly received a credit when I returned the item. Reorder the correct item from the same seller. Much pleased overall.
This charger looks just like the IGo, but it's not. (At least mine doesn't say IGo on it) It works just as well, and for a much better price.
I bought this unit a little over a year ago from Radio Shack and was given a sales pitch that I can use this thing for many instruments just by changing the tips. Great idea for a product except this charger don't last and it's sealed so you cannot replace the fuse. They made this unit so after about a year you have to buy a new one.No manufacturing integrity at all.
I have used iGo charging for years, and this addition to my "family" is really perfect. I know some have complained about having to carry charger tips with them, but that is not an issue for me. It's great to be able to charge any of my devices en route and not worry about how to hide all the different chargers from view in my car (I live in the city and break-ins are a problem) because this unit fits easily into my tiny and crowded glove box.
I have had one like the one pictured and got good use from it, until i gave it to my son. this is a good universal charger. the one i received is not the one pictured. if this one performs as well, i'll be happy. be sure to get the correct tips that you will need.
